Overview
Radiologic imaging affects all oncology patients. This one-day virtual course is designed to address a learning gap in APP knowledge on radiologic interpretation by providing a general overview of radiologic interpretation in the oncology population including imaging of the neck, breast, chest, abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, extremity, and whole body, including pediatric considerations. Modalities discussed will include X-Ray, ultrasound computed tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear imaging scans. Based on the positive feedback we received from last year’s program, we have added multiple case studies throughout the day to reinforced the content learned and highlight the significance of radiologic interpretation through the cancer care continuum.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students, clinical nurse specialists, nurses, radiology assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and physicians.
