Overview
Radiologic imaging affects all oncology patients. This one-day virtual course is designed to provide a general overview of radiologic interpretation in the oncology population, encompassing imaging of the breast, pelvis, chest, abdomen, brain, spine, extremity, and whole body. In addition to addressing pediatric considerations, we’ll also explore the innovative use of imaging in oncology.
Modalities discussed will include X-Ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear imaging scans. Additionally, we’ll deep dive the use of radiologic imaging in the innovative field of interventional oncology.
Building on the positive feedback over our previous courses, we’ve integrated additional interdisciplinary case studies throughout the day along with tools for audience engagement to reinforce content learned and highlight the significance of radiologic interpretation through the cancer care continuum.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students, clinical nurse specialists, nurses, radiologist assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and physicians.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners will be able to:
