This program will provide an overview of recent advances that target the underlying pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease. The focus of the program will be on the use of SGLT 2 Inhibitors and GLP-1 agonists to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and progression of kidney disease, monitoring and management of hypertension in special patient populations, and common lipid issues in patient care.
