Overview:
The Imaging Workshop Self-Study Course is intended for Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Primary Care Physicians who want an intensive focus on the interpretation of imaging studies obtained during the provision of urgent and emergent care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the Imaging Workshop Self-Study Course, participants will be able to:
- Correctly identify and address abnormalities on imaging studies of the adult and pediatric chest and extremities and the pediatric abdomen.
- Correctly identify and address abnormalities noted on imaging of the spine.
- Correctly identify indications for head CT scanning and address demonstrated abnormalities.
- Optimize the provision of care for patients with urgent or emergent conditions who are appropriate candidates for imaging studies.
