According to the Parkinson’s Foundation, nearly one million people in the US are living with PD today and another 60,000 Americans will be diagnosed every year. Given that each PD patient is unique, clinicians face as many specific treatment challenges as the number of PD patients they follow. To help address this need, expert faculty will discuss challenges and opportunities for clinicians and healthcare professionals managing patients with PD, including current and emerging medical and surgical advances that can be implemented to slow disease progression and improve patients’ quality of life. Particular focus will be put these complex disorders including motor and non-motor symptoms, nutritional and lifestyle changes.
