Overview:
The 45th Annual Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Reconstruction, and Medicine Review Course will be condensed and offered via a virtual platform. It will be focused on the most important pathologies and medical conditions that present to oral and maxillofacial surgeons’ offices and for which written and oral board candidates are responsible.
The course will cover all topics pertinent to practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeons and board candidates including odontogenic cysts and tumors, oral cancer, osteoradionecrosis, drug induced osteonecrosis, various approaches to soft and hard tissue jaw reconstruction, salivary gland tumors, bone tumors and fibro-osseous diseases, osteomyelitis, and oral infections among others.
This course is offered as an educational review and does not imply approval or association with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery or any dental or medical specialty board. However, practitioners and residents preparing for their written and/or oral board examination have found this course to be extremely useful and many practitioners have realized improved diagnostic skills and treatment methods.
