  • The spotlight of this year’s event was heart failure, which intersects all areas of cardiology and beyond to obesity, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.
  • The congress also featured a Digital Health Stage with scientific sessions focused on contemporary issues in cardiovascular medicine.
  • More than 30,000 health professionals from 175 countries attended this year’s meeting.
  • Novel findings were revealed in more than 3,750 abstracts and clinical cases presented by scientists from 86 countries

We are delighted to announce that ESC Congress will welcome you in Amsterdam from 25 to 28 August 2023 and online, around the globe. We will join forces to create the future of cardiology – a future where everything is possible!

The spotlight of ESC Congress 2023 will be heart failure. Many of the problems cardiovascular professionals deal with are either the cause or complications of heart failure, including coronary artery disease, valvular problems, stroke, arrhythmias, and sudden death. Heart failure is relevant to all areas of cardiology and beyond, including obesity, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease, which is why it makes such a relevant spotlight for ESC Congress 2023.
